Roslyn Delores Harris is a native of Detroit, Michigan and is a graduate of Greenville Technical College where she received her Associates Degree in Business Management. She attends N J Brockman School of Theology were she is pursuing a degree in the study of religious truths. Minister Harris is an Associate Minister of Shady Oak Baptist Church where she has served as a teacher for Bible Study and Sunday School. Minister Harris is the wife of Leon Harris and between the two of them have two children and seven grandchildren. They have been married for thirty years. Minister Harris was called to preach in 1998 and received her license to preach the gospel in June 2002 at Mt. Sinai World Outreach Ministries under the leadership of Bishop T. McCaskill, Sr. Minister Harris stands firm on Romans 8:31. What shall we say to these things? If God be for us who can be against us?
Ruby L. Davis was born in Clinton, South Carolina and is a graduate of Clinton High School. She currently attends the NJ Brockman School of Theology Associates Degree Program. In May 2011, Minister Davis graduated with a Diploma in Theological Studies. Minister Davis preached her Initial Sermon on June 28, 2009 at the Shady Oak Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Ronald D. Barton she was officially licensed to preach the Gospel on this day. Minister Davis is an Associate Minister at Shady Oak Baptist Church and has taught the Sunday School Adult class, and is active in other ministries of the church. Minister Davis has been married to Deacon Robert Davis Jr. for nineteen years. She is the mother of four (4) children and three (3) step-children. She also has ten (10) grand-children and two (2) great grand-daughters. Her Motto is "You can never be a good leader without being a good follower of Christ, First!--- "Live according to God's plan and life will become clearer!"
Portia Germaine Mansell
is a native of Greenville, South Carolina and is a graduate of Eastside High School. She attended Greenville Technical College and The American Baptist School of Theology extension program at Martin Webb Learning Center and plans to further her ministry in Christian Education. Minister Mansell is a former member of Mt. Emmanuel Baptist Church and Rocky Mountain Baptist Church where she served as an Associate Minister, Praise Team leader, in the Intercessory Prayer Ministry, and Gospel choirs. Minister Mansell is now an Associate Minister of Shady Oak Baptist Church. She is married to Deacon Sage T. Mansell and they have been married for twenty-nine years and are the parents of two (2) daughters and the grandparents of one (1) granddaughter and three (3) grandsons.
Minister Mansell accepted the call from God and was licensed to preach, December 5, 1999, through the Reedy River Association. Minister Mansell's Testimony: I am a woman of God called as for a time as this: Jeremiah 1:4-5 Then the word of the Lord came unto me saying: Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained a prophet unto the nations. “I serve a true and living God one that shall never leave me nor forsake me.”
Ra'kenya Lewers is a vibrant, energetic woman of God and native of Greenville, SC. She is the youngest of two children born to the late Mary Francis Lewers and Johnny Jones Mattison. Upon graduating from Wade Hampton High School she attended Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC where she realized her gift of teaching. She is currently enrolled at Anderson University in Anderson, SC studying Elementary Education and is employed full-time by the Greenville County School District.
With an undeniable passion for empowering women and young ladies, Ms. Lewers has served in such capacities as Sunday School teacher, Director of the dance ministry, co-chair of the Children's Ministry, and member of the outreach ministry at Springfield Baptist Church in Greenville,SC. As a youth, she was given the opportunity to speak at the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education in Indianapolis, IN. She knew that God was calling her even further into the ministry and was led to join Shady Oak Baptist Church. She has been blessed with the gift of prophetic dance, and passions for children, and outreach. As the proud mother of 3, Zion Noah, Sasha, and Layla Grace, Minister Lewers lives everyday with a mission to encourage, equip, and inspire others with biblical based principles to walk in their purpose. Through her personal testimony, she has tested her favorite scripture and know it to be true: Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint."
